Cantine Puianello
“Cultivating the best hills of Reggio Emilia”
Visiting the Lambrusco hills, through the limestone and clayey soils that rise from Scandiano to Canossa, we arrive at Puianello, home to the historic winery. The winery is located in the heart of the Lambrusco region, a territory that has always inspired the products made including Lambruschi, Malvasie and Spergole. Sheltered from the humid climate and frequent fogs, typical of the Emilian plain, our hills still offer a privileged micro-climate, ventilated and with a good temperature range. Grown on calcareous and generally clayey soils, our vineyards mainly follow the espalier training system, with vegetative containment threads, combining the Guyot pruning system.
